Legasuite, previously GUI400 (GUI/400) and then JWalk, is an excellent product for creating native graphic applications in RPG. It eliminates the antiquated 5250 screens and introduces modern GUI features such as drop-down menus, pop ups, buttons and other features of the Windows interface.

World Acumen has produced templates that extends the functionality of the Legasuite GUI interface to give 5250 application a web page look and feel. This not only gives legacy applications a fresh look, but also introduces a whole new level of usability from a user perspective. The majority of people are familiar with web page functionality, however 5250 green screen presentation and functionality can be confusing. By combining the two, your application becomes much more user friendly.
